We recently had the pleasure of having a home built by Richardson Homes. We were extremely pleased with the experience. James Richardson is in our opinion a one of a kind home builder. He walked us through every aspect of our home building process and was more than happy to answer any questions we had through out the entire process. He was open to any suggestions or concerns we might have had. Even our friends and family marveled at the open relationship we had with Mr. Richardson.

Not only were we pleased with our everyday dealings with Mr. Richardson, but the quality of the home was exceptional also. It is truly evident that Mr. Richardson cares and takes pride in the homes he builds. We were fortunate to see all of the construction phases from the foundation to the roof. During these phases we were constantly pleased with how Mr. Richardson went above and beyond to enhance our home. During our walk through we were in awe of the extra up grades that Mr. Richardson put into our home which ranged from the fixtures to the crown molding. All of this was done at no cost to us, much to our delight!

We would recommend Richardson Homes to any of our friends or family who are considering building a home. Furthermore, if we have the opportunity to build another home we will be using Richardson Homes.

We have had an extremely fantastic relationship with Mr. Richardson during the construction of our home. Mr. Richardson maintained a very professional crew of employees during construction, and checked on the site regularly. He also made sure the site was kept free of debris and excess construction materials at regular intervals, and ensured that we were informed of the various building stages as our home progressed. Mr. Richardson was very knowledgeable, highly intelligent, and extremely professional in all aspects of the construction, detail work, and final turnover of our home. He has continued to be very proactive in checking with us about any “touch up” or warranty type of work that may need to be done during our first year in the house. My wife and I could not be more pleased with Mr. Richardson and Richardson Homes. He has definitely made our home building experience an enjoyable and memorable journey.

My wife and I bought Jimmy Richardson's 2010 East Beach Home-A-Rama "Tribute to the Armed Forces" house after falling in love with it during the show. We weren't even thinking about moving, let alone buying such an amazing place. The beautiful landscaping, full-width double porches, the rich inlaid hardwood floors, the wide-open and light-filled first floor, intriguing sandstone-like floor to ceiling fireplace and a truly amazing kitchen grabbed our attention and wouldn't let go. The vision of sand and stone carried on into the first floor master suite and bathroom and kept coming back to us long after we'd left the show. Other design details like six-foot wainscoting, a warm and welcoming rear patio with fireplace, and the high-tech audio/visual elements throughout the house set it apart from any other home we'd ever seen. It only took us a couple of days to take the leap and make an offer.

After the sale, Jimmy followed through with great care attending to the inevitable small glitches that all new home experiences. We were so impressed we had him build a full apartment to finish off the carriage house thematically consistent with the main house and turn what had been a typical attic space...cleverly hidden behind a very cool bookcase door...into a large and lovely craft room. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful home, and Jimmy has been the driving force behind the whole experience.
